School Meals

Aspens Catering provide schools lunches from Dussindale’s on-site kitchen.  All lunches (free or paid) must be pre ordered via the Parent Portal.

Children in the Foundation Stage (Year R) and Key Stage 1 (Years 1 and 2)  are entitled to have a free lunch – this is called ‘Universal Free School Meals’. If parents of children in these year groups are in receipt of certain benefits (see link on right) please let the school office know, as this will provide the school with extra Pupil Premium funding.

Children in Key Stage 2 (Years 3, 4, 5 and 6) ARE NOT entitled to ‘Universal Free School meals’. Parents may choose to pay £2.50 a day for their child to have either a hot lunch (meat or vegetarian), pasta, jacket potato or ‘pick and mix’ packed lunch option.

To order a lunch please use the School Management Information System Arbor, or contact the school office.

Free School Meals

To find out whether you can apply for free school meals for your child, please visit www.norfolk.gov.uk. All children in Years R, 1 and 2 are entitled to ‘Universal Free School meals’, but if you are in receipt of benefits please still apply to Norfolk County Council, as this means that the school receives extra funding called ‘Pupil Premium Funding’. The application form can also be found below.
